Favorite Fall 2014 Beauty Trends

It's finally Fall! My favorite time of year, as you know :) I've been looking at a few of this year's beauty trends and there are a few that I love! I'll share them, and a few of my annual faves as well, below!

Lips: The always popular, Deep Red/Berry Lip. I have a fun story about my hunt for a new fall lipstick, below.** This one is Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Bordeaux ($5, Drugstores)

Face: I love more bronzer and less blush during the fall, especially paired with a berry lip! This one is a cheapie and goodie, NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder in Sunny ($3, Drugstores. This is great for most skin tones, too!)

Eyes: The metallic trend this season is where I'm on the fence. I've never been a fan of metallics on me. Other people? Sure, but not this girl. However, I love these eyeshadow palettes that have hints of metallic shimmer! Perfect for fraidy-cats like me! These are Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette ($54, Sephora) and NYX Cosmetics Love In Paris Palette in Parisian Chic ($10, Target and Ulta)

Hair: I've always had naturally dark brown hair and loved it, but this season, something is making me want to try a dark burgundy/auburn shade! I'll have to wait til next year though, since dye still hasn't been proven safe during pregnancy.

Skin: My favorite fall scent, Amber Blush from Bath and Body Works! And their new formula is full of shea butter and moisturizer, so my dry, sensitive skin can handle it! I sure miss working here, if for no other reason, than the smells! Haha. Amber Blush Shower Gel ($12.50, Bath and Body Works)

**I was browsing around Target's makeup section today in search of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry, but somehow found my way to the Rimmel stand, where I picked up a Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Bordeaux. Upon swatching it, I realized it was basically the exact same color as Revlon's Black Cherry! Not that a drugstore lipstick needs a dupe, but the Rimmel was a dollar or two cheaper ;) Plus I always love my Rimmel lipsticks, so I had to take that one home. But that was not the only dupe of the day! I always check out Essie for their holiday collection and this time I fell in love with Berry Naughty. I've been on the hunt for the perfect berry nail polish since August, and this was it! And I found a dupe for it an aisle over! It is Revlon Nail Enamel in Raven Red! The exact same color. I love when that happens!

I'm so excited to bust out all the taupes, browns, and berries this season! What are your favorite Fall beauty trends? Are you trying anything new?
