Garlic Chicken & Veggies


This may be one of the easiest meals I've ever made. Target's Cartwheel app had these Campbell's Oven Sauces for 40% off, so I snagged one up to try for dinner one night. I ended up getting it for about $1.40 after Cartwheel and RedCard discounts! Now I'm wishing I'd bought more!


What you'll need:


I only had small potatoes, so I used 6. I chose frozen green beans and thawed them ahead of time. Fresh would be even better! I used half of a 15oz bag. One packet of Campbell's Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken Oven Sauce and 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breast. I used 4 tenderloins. Plus any seasonings you like. I added a little extra garlic salt, pepper and dried parsley.


Rinse and dice your potatoes.


Thaw and drain your green beans.


Toss the potatoes and green beans into a greased 9"x13" baking dish. Lay the chicken breasts over top, thawed.


Squeeze the Oven Sauce out over top of everything.


Spread the sauce out evenly, sprinkle over any seasonings you want and bake at 400 degrees for 45-60 minutes!


Ta-da! Easy-peasy. I've never made such a quick meal that wasn't your run of the mill casserole or hamburger helper! This stuff is super delicious and perfect for busy weeknights. I think it would be yummy with shredded chicken over rice as well.



Garlic Chicken & Veggies

  • 4-6 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 4-6 Medium Red Potatoes
  • 7-8 oz (half a bag) Frozen or Fresh Green Beans
  • 1 (12oz) Package of Campbell's Oven Sauce in Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken


Preheat oven to 400. Lightly grease a 9"x13" baking dish. Thaw the green beans (or rinse and snap if fresh) and rinse and dice the potatoes. Toss together and place in baking dish. Lay the thawed chicken breasts over top of the vegetables and squeeze the Oven Sauce onto everything. Spread evenly and bake for 45-60 minutes. Serve warm with a dinner roll.
