Clairol Hair Food Strawberry & Ginger Root Clarifying Shampoo

Wow! Another impressive Influenster treat! I'm so pleased with this shampoo!

So it's kinda hard to take, like, photos of the shampoo itself. I'll just tell you about it instead.

First off, packaging. I think it looks really cute! I love shampoo with a pump and the label looks salon quality. I actually didn't even know this was a product of Clairol until I got it in the mail! I received the Strawberry and Ginger Clarifying Shampoo. It claims to "deeply cleanse hair and remove buildup" while also being free of silicone, parabens, and mineral oils.

I've only washed with it once, and I can already feel a difference in my hair! I think it's due to the more natural qualities in it, but my hair just feels...clean. Like, with other shampoos my hair felt clean, but it felt as if there was a heavy layer of product still there, especially on second day hair. I'm currently on day two as I write this and my hair isn't even close to greasy! I didn't have to use dry shampoo at all today and I almost always rely on it for dirty hair days. My only fear is that this shampoo may be so clarifying that it could dry out my hair. I had that problem when I tried the Clear brand of shampoos. But I think if I find a decent conditioner, maybe even a Hair Food one, I might be able to get away with using this daily. If not, they have a whole array of other shampoos and conditioners for different hair dilemmas, as well as a line of hair masks and treatments!

At $10 a bottle, this shampoo is a bit pricier than most, but I think you pay for the quality with this one. I noticed I didn't have to use quite as much to build up a full lather in my hair as it was, so maybe higher quality trumps quantity as well! Either way, I can't wait to try more of this brand and see how it does in the long run!
