Fave Five Friday | Taking Time - Like Honey

Fave Five Friday | Taking Time

Happy Friday loves!

This week was about as exciting as last week...not very. But it wasn't a bad week either and that's something to be thankful for! Tomorrow we are leaving for Kentucky for my husband's stepgrandfather's funeral. I didn't know him well, but he was such a sweet man.

I'll just jump right into the highlights because I have a lot of packing to do!

5 // I got in a little me time on morning this week and it was so refreshing! I think its so important to take time out to just relax and breathe instead of always trying to get stuff done. It's invigorating and can totally change your outlook for the whole week!

4 // It's almost a miracle--I had time to finally do my nails this week! I can always find the time to paint them, but as soon as I do somebody cries/poops/needs something and then they're ruined. But Monday was a victory! Two hour naps for everyone meant time to paint and dry! It's the little things, right?

3 // Lucy's birthday party is officially up on the blog! You can see all the details and how I DIY'd all of the decor there. I love the way it turned out! It was even featured on Project Nursery!

2 // Another day, another outfit! I love this top's criss cross neckline and these heels are my absolute favorite. Head here to see all the details (including this top with is under $10!)

1 // This handsome guy is finally starting to show a little interest in eating baby food! We have had the hardest time with him just being lazy and not wanting anything but the bottle but he is now 9 months old, so I am ready for him to edge into real foods since formula goes away at one year in this house!

What are you up to this weekend? Any big plans? Let's hear 'em!

  1. I love your outfits, girl! And yay for having time for a fully dried mani! TI always get a drink and go to the bathroom before I paint my nails because I'm so bad about messing them up once I finish! :)
