$100 Spring Front Porch Makeover

*This post has been sponsored by Plum + Post. All opinions are my own.*

We just bought our first house this past summer and we're just now starting to pound out a few projects at a time around our new home. Our front porch was one of my first priorities because it's really your home's first impression!

I wanted my front door and entry area to be welcoming and inviting, so what better way to portray that than an adorable Welcome Sign?! This wooden beauty is from Plum + Post and I can't get over how gorgeous it looks on my front steps! Plum + Post is an online home decor shop with some of the cutest (and affordable!) pieces for every decor style!

I knew I had to have this welcome sign as soon as I saw it in the shop. The white, chalk-style paint and distressed details give it an inviting charm. I paired it with flowers and a lantern for spring/summer but think it will look stunning with pumpkins and winter greenery in the following seasons!

My front door actually got a full makeover: it went from a sad and faded burgundy color to a bold and beautiful navy! I am in love with this rich shade of blue, especially paired with the antique brass handle! I can't wait to give the shutters a face lift next. And let's not forget the hydrangea wreath.....swoon!

This entire project cost me just over $100 and I am so happy with how it turned out! The welcome sign from Plum + Post was just what my little porch needed to be the warm and inviting entrance to my loving home!

Details
Welcome Sign | c/o Plum + Post, $60
Wooden Box | Michael's, clearance $8
Flowers | Home Depot, $10
Lantern | Gift from my mom
Wreath | DIY from Hobby Lobby, approx. $20

I love a good (and quick!) budget renovation, don't you?! What project is next on your list?
