Fave Five Friday | Bargain Shoes + Bandits

Happy Friday! It's another MOPS Friday over here, so I am heading out with little miss to enjoy some quality mom time with some great friends!

5.) We saw so much gorgeous weather last weekend! Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones enjoying it! We caught a couple of little bandits getting into our trash the other night, but they were too cute to shoo away! The warm weather did give us a chance to spend some family time outdoors and really get to work on our nightstand makeover project, though! I'm so excited to share the results with you all!

4.) It was my table's turn to bring breakfast to MOPS and the theme for the week was Comfort Food. What's more comforting than a big ol' donut--or donut hole? I picked up this delicious tub at Sam's Club and can't wait to dive into them this morning!

3.) Did you see this week's spring-y posts? I shared some favorite spring polishes and spring dresses that I'm just dying to have! Bring on that warm weather!

These cute loafers came home with me for under $10!
2.) I also got the chance to join in on a fun link up this week--a $10 Target challenge! It was fun seeing what I could come away with for only 10 bucks.

1.) This cheeseball and I are making one last solo trip to Lexington on Wednesday! I'm so looking forward to finishing up some last minute baby shopping and spending lots of time with family before Parker arrives!

What are your weekend plans? Do you have any highlights from this week?

Favorite Spring Nail Colors

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7

Are these not the prettiest shades ever? As much as I love a pretty pastel yellow and mint green in the spring, I'm just not a fan of many non-neutral colors on my nails. I tend to gravitate towards pinks, reds, plums and nudes pretty much all year. In the spring those shades turn to blush, lilac and peach. I also love to break out a bright white nail from time to time (yes, even in the winter)!

$10 Target Haul

I'm linking up with a bunch of lovely ladies for a $10 Target Haul today! I don't think I've ever had a problem spending money at Target, but keeping within a $10 budget has actually made me really expand my couponing skills and dig deeper for the best deals.

Here's a look at what I came home with (sorry for the crap photos. My good camera is still on the mend!):

Toddler Tumbler with Straw & Toddler Lunch Tray: $1.00 each

Earth's Best Organic Pouches: 66c each, $1.98

Total: $10.48

RedCard Discount Total: $10.15

So, I just barely made it, but I got some great deals! The leopard shoes were 70% off and are the comfiest pair of flats I've worn in a while! Not to mention super cute!

The dollar spot never disappoints, of course, and the Earth's Best pouches will be perfect for our upcoming Kentucky trip! I don't usually buy them because, at more than $1 a piece, they're pricey for an everyday meal! I like to stock up on them when they're on sale and keep them in the diaper bag for times when we're out and can't stop for lunch, or on road trips so I can make a quick meal for Lucy without having to really stop. Target has these on sale in stores as well as a printable coupon for buy one get one free and the Cartwheel app had them 10% off, so I ended up getting each pouch for 66 cents!

All in all, I think I had a decent haul, and even crossed a few things off my wishlist and grocery list!

Do you shop at Target? Think you can stay within a $10 budget?

Fave Five Friday | Weekly Recap + A Not-So Favorite

Happy Friday, y'all! I'm finally back after skipping out last week (oops) and I have lots to share! Let's dive right in.

5.) Last weekend we celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday with dinner at Olive Garden (so fancy, I know. It's my fave though!) and family time on Sunday! Lucy had various feelings about her Valentine's photoshoot.

4.) There were lots of fun posts on the blog the last 2 weeks! ICYMI, I shared some pretty coral colored favorites and a new edition of Pinspiration. There was also a pretty pastel sweater OOTD and a Spring Capsule wardrobe that uses mostly closet staples you probably already own! Win!

3.) I won a $15 gift card to the Red Dress Boutique on Facebook! It was definitely a great start to the week and I can't wait to spend it ;)

2.) We just got some new-to-us antique nightstands via Craigslist and this weekend begins the sweat equity. We're planning to prime and paint them and have already restored the hardware back to it's original brass color (plated). Anyone here have experience with Rub n Buff wax? I'm wondering if I should leave them this way or try to touch them up with some tinted wax to get a more vibrant brass (not brighter, just more even and solid). Ideas welcome!

1.) So, bad news. My new camera broke! :( The screen suffered a small crack that was just enough to have to send it back to Canon for repair. Womp-womp. However, it is on the mend and I'm hoping to have it back in a week or so!

What are y'all up to this weekend?!

Happy Monday, y'all! So it's been a while since I posted...yeah, pregnancy will do that to ya. I'd like to say I was just super busy, but to be completely honest, I just spaced and forgot to post for a few days! I got in a lot of quality family time, though, so I still came out on top :)

But it's a new week and I'm getting back in the swing of things with a Pinspiration post! I haven't done one of these in quite a while, so I'm excited to share what I've been pinning lately with all of you.

I am really loving the look of light grey furniture with gold hardware! We recently purchased some antique end tables from Craigslist to use as nightstands and I think they are destined for a similar makeover. And did I mention those mirrors? Swoon.

With an increasingly large belly, I love any tips and tricks for dressing the bump with regular clothes! Maternity clothes can get so dang pricey! I love this method for tying a button down top above the waist! This will perfect for my chambray top over the baby bump, and is a great tip for later on, too!

I haven't had Shake n Bake since I was a kid! This recipe for a homemade version sounds a lot healthier and wallet-friendly, but just as yummy!

I'm overdue for a haircut and I think this length/style is exactly what I'm looking for! I also really love that subtle balayage, but I'll save the coloring for after my hormones get back to normal.

Is this not the sweetest sibling photo you've ever seen? I think it's definitely a must for when Parker gets here!

This song has been on massive repeat around here lately! I am loving Lauren Daigle's music and this song, particularly this specific quote, really speaks to me. The Lord's plans are truly always SO good, and this song is a perfect reminder that there is nowhere I can go in life that God is not already ahead of me.

Pearls & Pastels

There may be snow on the ground, but I'm still slowly pulling out the bright pink lipstick and pretty pastels for Spring! I'm way to ready for the warmer weather and to be able to take Lucy outside more often! We're getting cabin fever over here and diving into my Spring/Summer wardrobe (what I can fit into anyway) is helping liven things up. What do you do when you're sick and tired of winter?

Fave Five Friday | Baby Curls & Operating Manuals

It's Friday! That means five favorites and, hopefully, a fun-filled weekend ahead!

5.) Do you ever have a week where you feel like you've been back and forth to the grocery store like a million times? That was this week. I think we went to Target almost every day, because pregnancy brain is real and I forget everything. But side-note, check out that baby pony! I am loving playing with all of her hair!

4.) And speaking of those luscious locks, can you believe those curls?! I mean....♥♥♥ I just wish they didn't go almost completely straight at the mere mention of a brush.

3.) Over the weekend we had gorgeous 60+ degree weather, so we had to have a picnic lunch outside! Lucy loved playing toys outside and watching us play fetch with the dog in the backyard! Don't mind her crazy hair...that's what happens post-ponytail. It's mayhem.

2.) While I'm already spamming you with baby pics (sorry, not sorry), I just had to share this adorable newborn photo I saw on my Facebook newsfeed! Babies come with one of the best manuals out there! Such a sweet reminder to always keep Christ at the center of my parenting. Also, I may be stealing that photo for Parker's newborn session.

1.) And since nothing else exciting happened this week, here's what ya may have missed on F&F! A new month calls for a new Currently! And this white blazer OOTD is just what I need to get my wardrobe ready for Spring!

How bout y'all? Are you planning any fun activities this weekend? Drop a line in the comments below--I love connecting with you!

Happy Friday!
