Today I'm sharing my most requested recipe: Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Seriously, I've never made these cookies and not been asked for the recipe! The best part? They're so easy!
Here's what you'll need:
Butter, Vanilla, Baking soda, flour, sugar, brown sugar, egg, instant vanilla pudding mix, and chocolate chips (optional: any other mix-ins)
Someone was excited to help bake!
Beat sugars and butter together, then add the egg and vanilla.
Now toss in the baking soda and vanilla pudding mix.
Time for flour!
And now the chips! I had hungry hands helping me ;)
Once mixed, scoop into small balls and line up on a greased cookie sheet. I usually do about 2 tbsp per scoop for a small/medium cookie.
NOW for the big secret!!!!
The secret to getting them picture perfect is to place a few chocolate chips on top before they bake. They'll stay at the surface and look just like your classic chocolate chip cookie should look!
I know what you're thinking. "Those could use a couple more minutes." But trust me and take them out! This is the key to a super chewy cookie!
