$100 Spring Front Porch Makeover

*This post has been sponsored by Plum + Post. All opinions are my own.*

We just bought our first house this past summer and we're just now starting to pound out a few projects at a time around our new home. Our front porch was one of my first priorities because it's really your home's first impression!

I wanted my front door and entry area to be welcoming and inviting, so what better way to portray that than an adorable Welcome Sign?! This wooden beauty is from Plum + Post and I can't get over how gorgeous it looks on my front steps! Plum + Post is an online home decor shop with some of the cutest (and affordable!) pieces for every decor style!

I knew I had to have this welcome sign as soon as I saw it in the shop. The white, chalk-style paint and distressed details give it an inviting charm. I paired it with flowers and a lantern for spring/summer but think it will look stunning with pumpkins and winter greenery in the following seasons!

My front door actually got a full makeover: it went from a sad and faded burgundy color to a bold and beautiful navy! I am in love with this rich shade of blue, especially paired with the antique brass handle! I can't wait to give the shutters a face lift next. And let's not forget the hydrangea wreath.....swoon!

This entire project cost me just over $100 and I am so happy with how it turned out! The welcome sign from Plum + Post was just what my little porch needed to be the warm and inviting entrance to my loving home!

Details
Welcome Sign | c/o Plum + Post, $60
Wooden Box | Michael's, clearance $8
Flowers | Home Depot, $10
Lantern | Gift from my mom
Wreath | DIY from Hobby Lobby, approx. $20
Paint | Very Navy by Behr, $18

I love a good (and quick!) budget renovation, don't you?! What project is next on your list?

Tear-Free Tub Time with SoCozy

*This post is sponsored by SoCozy. All opinions are my own and not edited by the sponsor. Some links may be affiliates.*

Happy Monday, friends!

We're back from a little blogging break and let me just say...that was such a nice little respite! I loved stepping back from a few responsibilities to focus on the ones that really matter: these two little ones!

We have been playing outside nonstop which means lots more baths around our house. Lately, it's been a real struggle. Between a busy one year old who doesn't like to be held still and a bossy toddler that doesn't like to do anything (!), getting them clean can be a real fight. I am so thankful we had the opportunity to try out SoCozy's newest line of sensitive and nontoxic products available at Target, called Hush!

The Hush line currently has 4 products: 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner, Styling Foam, Leave-In Detangler, and Scalp Serum.

My kids usually dread their shampoo rinse, but with the Hush 2-in-1, there were no tears and only one round of rinsing which made everyone happy! I love that it was gentle enough to use on both my toddler and my baby. We also loved the detangler for Lucy's curly locks. For once, she didn't fight me when I combed her hair! Mamas of curly-haired cuties, I know you feel me!

As for the styling foam and scalp serum, we honestly just don't have a lot of use for those. Neither of my kids has hair that particularly needs the extra hold from a styling product and since neither of them were battling an irritated scalp, we didn't see much change using the serum. I think it's great to have on hand in case something does irritate things later on, but mostly just recommend the shampoo and the detangler!

These products are available at some Target locations, but not all. They are available on Target's website though, so don't forget to use eBates to earn cash back on your purchase! (You can use my referral code to start earning on all your online purchases!) And that's before we count your RedCard savings! ;)

What shampoo are you using on your little one? Is it gentle and nontoxic? My littles are loving bath time now that it's tear-free for them!

Mom-Hack: How to Banish Tired Eyes for Good!

*This post has been sponsored by VII Code. As always, all opinions are my own. Some links are affiliate.*

How many of you mamas got a full 8 hours last night? Did you wake up with dark circles, bags, or general puffiness most mornings? What if I told you you could ditch the dark circles overnight? And by overnight, I mean, literally while you sleep!

These gel-like oxygen eye masks by VII Code are saving my tired eyes every morning. I’ve tried many sheet masks and overnight creams but never noticed a drastic difference the next day. With these masks, I wake up looking well-rested and refreshed, not puffy and drained, even when I’ve gotten up multiple times during the night with kids. The gel texture is a little strange at first, but it has a lovely cooling sensation that is so refreshing and you can really feel it working.

VII Code Oxygen EyeMasks are designed to work overnight to reduce dark circles, puffiness, and wrinkles. I use them about two to three days per week and have noticed a huge difference in the skin under my eyes. Not only does it look brighter and feel softer, but I’ve noticed a tightening effect as though it really is working that anti-aging magic (and I’m only 22, so no wrinkles here yet!). A full course of treatment is three boxes or 18 pairs of masks. Depending on your sleeping position, the masks can sometimes shift and peel at the sides overnight, but I haven't had many issues and still see the full effects in the morning!

Bottom line: Tired moms are going to love these masks. Even if you don't use them as a full anti-aging treatment, you’ll love pampering yourself with these gorgeous masks right before bed and waking up to bright eyes, feeling ready to take on the day. I’ve noticed a drastic reduction in puffiness in the mornings since starting and only use them a couple of times a week. I think this is the end of the “mombie” struggle! Just add coffee ;)

How cute is this Lularoe Monroe kimono? I'm loving this fun fringe and flirty colors! It's so lightweight and perfect for spring! I can totally see myself wearing this with a coral tank and cutoffs or even as a swim cover!

I love how flowy it is while still draping nicely without looking like a sheet. As if Lularoe needed any more reason to take my money...am I right?

The ONLY Diaper Bag You'll EVER Need

*This post contains affiliate links and has been sponsored by Bella Tunno. As always, all opinions are my own.*

I never thought I'd spend more than 20 minutes researching and deliberating a bag, and yet I can't tell you how many countless hours were spent YouTubing "What's in my bag?" videos. Handbags are so easy to shop for because they mostly just have to be cute. But diaper bags? That's going to carry your whole life for like 5 years. No joke.

The struggle with diaper bags is that if it's cute, it's not functional or practical. If it's practical and functional, it's probably not cute. On the rare occasion that you do find one that meets those stipulations, is it big enough to get you past the toddler years? Can you continue to rock it with two or three kid's worth of stuff inside? Can you use it as your own, post-baby?

What if you could get a bag that met all of those needs, at once? That's why I am so excited to share the Bella Tunno Boss Bag with y'all! It is seriously such a game changer and if I'd had it at the beginning of my pregnancy with Lucy, I would have saved myself a lot of time and money trying out and researching hundreds of diaper bags to find the perfect one.

What's so great about the Boss Bag? Well, it's basically 3 bags in one. First off, you have the main Boss Bag.

It has __ side pockets surrounding one large main opening. The side side pockets also contain durable removable stroller straps which are a godsend if you like to carry your life with you on-the-go but don't want to tip your stroller over with a heavy bag hanging off of one side. There's also a little mini pouch hanging off the side that's perfect for any small items you may need to get to quickly. We like to keep ours full of pacifiers, snacks, and Kleenex. #momlife y'all.

Inside the main Boss Bag you'll find the Mini Boss Bag. Let me tell you, this thing is changing the way we travel for the good. It's a crossbody bag comprised of two clutches, one of which can be carried on it's own as shown below

But together, they make the perfect crossbody handbag for quick trips, solo mom trips, and everything in between. One side has a plush (I'm talking memory foam) changing pad with plenty of room for diapers and wipes, while the other side is perfect for mom's wallet and other necessities. Just snap them together and attach the shoulder strap or pop them apart and carry it as a clutch!

A tote, a crossbody, and a clutch all in one? I told you it was dreamy. Even better, it doesn't look like a diaper bag! The material is totally wipable for those inevitible baby spills, but isn't made of a cheap patterned vinyl like many of the diaper bags on the market. I love that I can carry this around anywhere and still look totally stylish, outfit on point and noone even knows that it's stuffed to the brim with Cheerios and Huggies. Isn't that what we all strive for as moms?

If you're still not sold, Bella Tunno donates one meal to a child in need for every product sold. And did you know that they sell more than these amazing bags? Teether toys, wonder bibs, crawling knee pads, and more! There's seriously so much cute stuff to be found on their site and I love supporting brands that give back.

So what are your thoughts? Does this bag seem like your dream bag? What's the number one thing you look for in a diaper bag?
