Pretty in Pink Velvet

January is that weird month where the holidays are finally winding down and I'm tired of winter, but it's still not acceptable to break out the spring styles (plus, I mean, there's usually an inch or two of snow lingering on the ground). I'm trying to make myself enjoy these in between seasons more this year, and this blush velvet cami from Pink Blush is helping me do just that!

The pretty pink color gives me the spring feeling I crave, while the cozy crushed velvet still says winter. Paired with comfy neutral knits, it's the perfect look for a snow day, curled up with a good book! It's so soft, too, and has the comfiest satin-y lining. I wish it was acceptable to wear velvet through the summer, because I don't think I can handle taking this one out of my rotation.

I'm a lover of layers, too, so of course this darling cardigan had to come home with me. Charlotte Russe has great deals on their sweaters if you watch for them! The quality is so-so most of the time, but this cardi is well made, soft, and holding up well! Plus, it has pockets, so it's obv a winner.
