I loooove a quick and easy makeup look, even for Valentine's Day! No falsies or overpriced high end products necessary here, just tried-and-true drugstore favorites that add up to an ultra glam, long-lasting look that's perfect for day or night!
Here's what I used!
Foundation // Revlon ColorStay Foundation in shade 110 Ivory
Eyes // Maybelline Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Waterproof Mascara + L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara + Pixi by Petra Lash Line Ink
Eyeshadow // Revlon ColorStay Crème Eyeshadow in shade 105 Crème Brulee + Milani Everyday Eyes Eyeshadow Palette in Must Have Naturals
Setting Spray // Pixi by Petra Makeup Fixing Mist
This foundation is my all time favorite of all foundations I've ever used, even the few high end ones I've tried! It's not too matte, great coverage, and long lasting. My eyeshadow look is probably one of the easiest I've ever done and yet still works for date night! I used the light grey/brown shade from the Milani palette all over, with the Revlon shadow on the main part of my lid. Then I lightly smoked it all out with the medium dark shade of the Milani palette. To finish the smokey eye effect, I buffed out that medium dark shadow on my lower lash line which really ties everything together in a more natural way--at least as natural as you can get with a smokey eye!
As for the rest of the look, I simply did my regular makeup routine with a little more emphasis than normal on my contour and highlight to boost the glamorous feel. Normally, I'd rock this look with a bold red lip but this time I was feeling like a hot pink and I'm so glad I went with something different! I used the Pixi Beauty liquid lipstick I received in a PR package a while back and I really love it! It's not too drying and lasts a long time, but it's not entirely kiss-proof, so bear that in mind!

What are your Valentine's plans? I can't wait to spend the actual day with snuggles and a home-cooked meal, but Friday night we're hitting the town thanks to my sweet friend's offer to babysit! It's so nice to have just a couple hours to reconnect without the kids in tow!
