20 Gifts Your Mom Will Actually Want for Mother's Day

This year I'm not really expecting a Mother's Day gift, as we will be hanging out on the beach on our first day of vacation that day! But I still have a mom and mother-in-law to shop for that can both be difficult to shop for in their own ways, so I thought I'd share a few ideas in various price ranges that I wouldn't mind getting or already own and love! Click on any image below to shop that item directly!

$15 OR LESS

We all go through those hard times when money gets tight and we just can't afford a luxurious gift, or feel awkward giving a large gift. My own grandma has been known to throw a fit when given a gift over the $10 range! The thought is always more important than the cost, though! You can get a year long subscription to many magazines for only $5 (Related: 5 Magazines That Are Worth The Subscription)! Talk about a gift that keeps on giving! And who doesn't love a new candle? As much as I love the Bath & Body Works 3-Wicks, when I'm looking for an affordable alternative, I turn to these Walmart brand 3-Wicks. They come in TONS of scents and sizes, even wax melts!

Nail polish is always a nice treat. Add a gift certificate to her favorite nail salon if you can afford it. If primping isn't her thing, you can always pamper her with a new mug and a gift card to her favorite coffee shop. Sort of random, but the kids (ahem, Preston) got me a portable Bluetooth speaker for Christmas last year and I can't tell you how much I love it! I use it to listen to tunes and podcasts when I'm cooking in the kitchen or taking a shower/getting ready. I love that it's portable so I can take it wherever I need it! If mom is more into reading, this devotional is a fantastic one for women! I can't recommend it enough!

Being a mom is a tiring job, so a cozy new pair of pajamas (also available in plus sizes) or a cushy new robe are the perfect treat! Combine them with breakfast in bed to really treat mom like a queen! Don't want to guess her size? A new accessory like a satin scarf or classic pearl studs are both lovely gifts that will go with everything. I also always love receiving perfume as a gift and this Nest Fragrances Grapefruit and Verbena body spray is on my own wishlist this year!

If your mom is into baking, these baking dishes from Target are an incredible value for the quality! I have this exact set (it comes in a few other colors/patterns) and can't believe they were only $20 for two dishes! The extra deep 9x13 pan has come in so handy. Another kitchen item I own and love is the Magnolia Table cookbook! Most of the recipes are simple and don't require crazy ingredients which makes it practical for everyday use.

$50 AND UP

I don't know many mamas who wouldn't love a new pressure cooker! If that's not on her list, consider what appliances she would like or see if there's one she owns that could use an upgrade and treat her to the newest model. I'm well aware that a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer is more than on the pricey side for a gift, but consider asking your siblings to go in on it with you if it's something you know she'd really love! They last a lifetime and have so many useful attachments that make great future Christmas and Mother's Day gifts! Another kitchen gift every woman loves is new pots and pans! I received The Pioneer Woman 10-Piece Cookware Set a few years ago and it's still holding up great! I put everything but the cast iron in the dishwasher and use them daily. A couple of my pans have some slight scratches on the surface and the bottoms are stained a bit from scorching, but overall they still look and work like new! The quality is great for a complete set that's less than $100.

Mom not into cooking? You can't go wrong with some dainty jewels like this Kendra Scott necklace and Kiel James Patrick ring. If she's more on the techy side, why not treat mom to a new tablet? I love Kindles for their affordability and ease-of-use.

There are so many different factors at play when it comes to shopping for the moms in your life! I hope this little compilation is helpful to you or at least serves as inspiration! Feel free to comment or email me with any questions; I love to think up new gift ideas!

Have you thought about what you're getting your mom this year? If you're a mom, what's on your own wishlist?
