I know, I know...I'm, like, wayyy behind on the jumpsuit trend, but I just have to share this super cute polka dot one that is long torso friendly! I actually didn't even realize I had a long torso until really recently, maybe a year or two ago! I'm only 5'3" so I never understood why petite tops and dresses didn't work on me or why rompers and jumpsuits just didn't fit right. I was always sizing up and then feeling frustrated with how baggy things had to be for me to feel comfortable with the length. Now that I've figured out my body type, I can shop a little easier, but I still struggle with rompers and jumpsuits. Imagine my surprise when this adorable polka dot number actually fit me perfectly, even the "regular" inseam!

I couldn't tell you what made me love this jumpsuit more: the polka dot pattern, the petite-friendly cropped inseam, the wide leg trend, the open back detail, the POCKETS, the color--aptly named "gingerbread", or the fact that it feels like pajamas! My only complaint about this jumpsuit is that the top is a little baggy, but if you're bustier than me you should be fine! This is one of my favorite colors (it's slightly more brown than orange IRL) and will work beautifully for fall with a long cardigan and a wide brim fedora! Some colors I would pair this with are blush, olive green, black, and burgundy. Would you be interested in me sharing a little round-up of different ways to style this wide leg patterned jumpsuit? Drop a comment in the field box below to let me know and tell me how you'd style it, too!

Another thing I'm loving right now is this Free People Royale Flat dupe! They're only $35 and great quality for the price. I always have good luck with shoes in this brand and love how versatile these are--I'll definitely get my money's worth and more!

I think I'm leaning towards color choices like this because I'm so ready for fall! It's been 90% humidity the last couple of weeks and I am over summer, plus with Bath & Body Works already breaking out their first round of fall candles--well, who can blame me?! Are you still soaking up summer or would you rather trade swimming pools for crunchy leaves? I'll take all the leaves, please!

DIY Outdoor Murphy Bar

This post is sponsored by Westlake Ace Hardware, but all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting Like Honey!

Summertime is in full swing here in Missouri and I'm making the most of these hot, humid months with a quick little patio project from Westlake Ace Hardware! It's a DIY Outdoor Murphy Bar, takes minutes to put together, and is the perfect accompaniment to all of your summer BBQs!

All you'll need is a few cedar pickets (cedar keeps bugs away!), a couple of 1x6 boards, some decking screws, a few feet of jack chain + d-rings and hinges for the door, a paint brush and a gallon of your favorite paint--I love the Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines options available at Westlake Ace Hardware. They carry 150 hand selected timeless colors so you can perfectly recreate your favorite Fixer Upper styles at home. After a little deliberation, I ended up going with the shade "mineral green" and I think it turned out lovely! It was easy to find everything I needed right there in the store thanks to the help of the friendly staff; they even kept my kiddos entertained while I waited for the paint to mix up! We've got quiet a few paint projects in our near future, so I'm glad to know that there's a local shop where I can find all of the brands and accessories I trust for all of my home improvement projects!

This do it yourself outdoor murphy bar is the perfect place to prep a fresh batch of lemonade, mix up a few drinks, or even host a s'mores bar! The ideas are limitless and we have the whole summer to think up even more patio projects at Westlake Ace Hardware! What summer project will you tackle next?
